Communication

Why Study Communication?

Employers identified the ability to verbally communicate and create and/or edit written documents as among the top ten skills they seek when hiring new college graduates. Employers also report that it is hard to find graduates with these skills, as well as the “soft” skills crucial to work readiness such as professionalism, work ethic, teamwork, collaboration skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. A degree in Communication makes you highly employable in a number of career paths, as well as better communicator in any personal or professional setting.
