Why Study Automotive?
Automotive Technology is an exciting field that combines the latest technology with a hands-on work environment. A successful technician does something different with every job, so it is never repetitive or boring. This skill allows you the opportunity to seek employment anywhere people own vehicles. You do not have to move to a large urban area for a good paying job because no matter where in this country you go, there is a need for a skilled automobile technician. The need for technicians is growing all the time, and a degree from the Columbia-Greene Automotive Technology program ensures that you have a desirable, marketable skill.
Columbia-Greene offers a full Automotive Technology A.O.S degree program as well as a one-year certificate program to fast-track your technical career in this industry. We also offer direct manufacturer training for Subaru, Toyota, and Audi, as well as a partnership path for BMW.
The program is ASE/NATEF MAST certified and Columbia-Greene instructors have 50 years of combined dealership experience.
