Berne is happiest when she’s in the classroom with her students and she is grateful for all they teach her. Besides teaching, Berne manages all of the Nursing applications and admissions and serves as an academic advisor for the Nursing pathway students, too. When she’s off-duty, she rescues senior animals. She’s in the running for most tattooed faculty member.
