Why Study Health Science?

There is an ever-increasing need for well-qualified professionals in the health sciences. The Math/Science degree program with a concentration in health sciences provides students with a strong foundation in how the natural world works. Students complete courses in anatomy and physiology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. In the courses students apply mathematical models and the scientific method to solve concrete problems.

The Allied Health Sciences Concentration prepares students for transfer into a variety of health science bachelor’s degree programs. This general program can be customized to provide a strong transfer for pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-veterinary medicine, optometry, podiatry, or other allied health fields.

Within the Liberal Arts and Science – Mathematics/Science – Health Science Concentrations are available in:
