Child Care Training Program

Interested in Opening an In-Home Daycare?

Next cohort begins October 2023!  

The Family Child Care Training Program will provide comprehensive training, equipment, and physical plant modifications for those interested in operating an in-home daycare program. Starting with an informational session, the Family Childcare Training Program includes mandatory health and safety training, as well as Office of Children and Family Services Orientation, CPR/First Aid for adults and children, and education about business practices. Training and other supports will be provided at no cost to eligible participants through grants from Columbia-Greene Workforce NY.

The Family Child Care Training Program is offered through a partnership between Columbia-Greene Community College’s Office of Community Engagement and Professional Development, Child Care Connections, a childcare resource and referral program of Family of Woodstock, Inc., and Columbia-Greene Workforce, NY.
